Do you know where the world's largest solar power plant is? If you're thinking about getting into the world of solar power, this is a little piece of trivia that might really make your day. The need to get away from traditional sources of energy and get into alternative energy is quite high, and it's only going to get higher with each and every passing day.
On the subject of the world's largest solar PV plant, that title belongs to the Teanaway Solar Reserve, located near Cle Elum, Washington. It's going to be 75 megawatts, which would give off enough power to comfortably support over 75,000 homes. That's a lot of power, and it will actually earn that title once it's fully finished out. Right now, the actual title holder is a 60 megawatt compound located in Spain.
The presence of the Teanaway solar plant will be a great addition to the United States’ resources, and will serve as an example of the power of alternative energy to people all around the world.
